Good digital citizenship is increasingly complex. Come to learn about recent concerns including safeguarding personally identifying information; managing one’s online persona; and, school safety and social media. As a result of attending the workshop, participants will:

• Review and discuss the critical need for safeguarding personal data privacy. 
• Explore how one’s digital tattoo (or digital footprint) is created and follows its owner everywhere.
• Explore why social media is so compelling for students and adults alike and explore ways in might be included in a school safety plan.

An online agenda will be provided for use during and after the conference. Participants will be able to access all materials referenced.

Jon Corippo will be sharing easy and highly flexible lesson frames for use in most any grade level and all platforms. This high energy, hands-on session will leave attendees with several tried-and-true pedagogical approaches that will boost engagement, interaction and academic performance in a broad range of student types. Best of all: the lesson frames are free to use and share, diminishing the need for expensive published materials.
