During this session, participants be invited to deepen their understanding about what it takes to be an innovative leader from any seat. We will discuss what Innovative Leadership looks like, how we can support it, and what to look for when evaluating programs. Based on some of the teachings in the book The Innovator's DNA, we will break down the elements that lead to supporting and encouraging innovative practices in schools. We will also discuss barriers that prevent innovative practices and share ways to overcome the barriers.
