Good digital citizenship is increasingly complex. Come to learn about recent concerns including safeguarding personally identifying information; managing one’s online persona; and, school safety and social media. As a result of attending the workshop, participants will:
  • Review and discuss the critical need for safeguarding personal data privacy. 
  • Explore how one’s digital tattoo (or digital footprint) is created and follows its owner everywhere.
  • Explore why social media is so compelling for students and adults alike and explore ways in might be included in a school safety plan.
An online agenda will be provided for use during and after the conference. Participants will be able to access all materials referenced.
